About SC OBC Free Coaching Scheme
This scheme was started by the Central government of India. In this scheme government is going to provide financial aid to the SC, OBC students who wants to do coaching. In this scheme government is going to give Rs. 6000 per month to the students who get selected for free coaching. Along with this Rs. 2000 will also giving to the students as allowance charges so that they can stay in the city till the course complete. And the local students will receive Rs. 3000 per month. The ratio of SC and OBC students to be coached under the scheme will be 70:30. This scheme will empower the weaker section of the society.

SC and OBC Free Coaching Objective
The main objective of this scheme is to provide free and good-quality of coaching to the SC and OBC students. This will help them to appear in the competitive exam and succeed in obtaining an appropriate job in the public/private sector. And this will also empower them.
Free Coaching Features And Benefits
- This scheme was started by the Central Government of India.
- In this scheme government is going to provide financial aid to the SC, and OBC students who want to do coaching.
- In this scheme, the government is going to give Rs. 6000 per month to the students who get selected for free coaching. Along with this Rs. 2000 will also be given to the students as allowance charges so that they can stay in the city till the course is complete.
- And the local students will receive Rs. 3000 per month.
- The ratio of SC and OBC students to be coached under the scheme will be 70:30.
- In this scheme, 60% of the total available slots will be given to the courses in which the qualifying exam is graduation.
- And remaining 40% slots will be given to the courses in which the qualifying exam is 12th.
- Online coaching is not available in this scheme.
- The coaching fee is sent to the beneficiary account through DBT in a single installment within 2 weeks from the date the candidate uploads the fee receipt.

- Group A and B examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC), the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs);
- Group A and B examinations conducted by the State Public Service Commission’s;
- Officers’ Grade examinations conducted by Banks, Insurance Companies, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs);
- Premier Entrance Examinations for admission in (a) Engineering (e.g. IITJEE), (b) Medical (eg. NEET), (c) Professional courses like Management (e.g. CAT) and Law (e.g. CLAT), and any other such disciplines as Ministry may decide from time to time.
- Eligibility tests/examinations like SAT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL.
- Entrance examination tests for CPL courses/National Defence Academy and Combined Defence Services.
SC and OBC Free Coaching Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an SC and OBC student.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per month.
- Only one child from the family can benefit from this scheme.
- The students will receive coaching for both the preliminary and main exams.
- Students who get selected in this scheme will have to attend all the classes.
- If any student takes leave of more than 15 days then he/she will be banned from the coaching.
