- AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) Ration Card – This Ration Card will be provided to those families whose monthly income is less than Rs.15,000/- The household will get rice at Rs.3 per kg & wheat Rs.2 per kg.
- PHH (Priority House Hold) Ration Card – This Ration Card will be issued to those who live in Rural area.

Procedure To Apply For Karnataka Ration Card
- Firstly, you have to visit the Official Website ahara.kar.nic.in of Karnataka Ration Card Department.

- Then on homepage, You have to click on ‘E-Services’ option.
- Now, click on ‘New Ration Card’ option.
- Select ‘New Ration Card Request’ option.
- Choose the type of you ration card.
- Then you have to enter Aadhar Card Number & verify it with your registered mobile number.
- Enter OTP in the OTP box which has come on your registered mobile number.
- After successful verification, click on ‘ADD’ option to generate a new ration card.
- After that an application form will appear on the screen. Fill all the details in the form.
- Then you have to click on ‘Save’ option.
- After few days, you will receive your ration card by doing the payment of Rs.100/-.
Steps To Check Karnataka Ration Card Status
- Firstly, you have to visit the Official Website https://ahara.kar.nic.in/Home of Karnataka Ration Card Department.
- Then on homepage, You have to click on ‘E-Services’ option.
- Now, click on ‘New user or existing request status’ option under ‘e-status’ tab.

- A new page will appear. Select your region.
- If you are a fresh applicant choose ‘Application status of new ration card applied otherwise select Status of Ration Card’.

- Fill all the required details & click on ‘GO’ option.
- On next page you will be able to see the status of your ration card.
Procedure To Check Karnataka Ration Card List
- Firstly, you have to visit the Official Website of Karnataka Ration Card Department.
- Then on homepage, You have to click on ‘E-Services’ option.
- Now, click on ‘Show Village List’ option under ‘e-status’ tab.
- Now, select your district, Taluk, Gram Panchayat, Village.
- After that click on ‘GO’ option.
- On next page, a list will appear with the names. You can check your name.
Steps To Lodge Grievance
- Firstly, you have to visit the Official Website of Karnataka Ration Card Department.
- Then on homepage, You have to click on ‘E-Services’ option.
- Then click on Lodge your Grievance option under ‘Public Grievance and Rewards’ section.

- The Grievance form will open then fill the asked details in the form such as name, email-id, address, phone no. etc.
- After this Select the Grievance Category and Subject.
- Now, enter the Grievance details.
- Upload the relative document.
- Now enter the captcha code and after this click on ‘Submit’ button.
