About Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship
The Chief Minister of Karnataka state Mr. Basavaraj Bommai Ji along with Department of Agriculture, Karnataka has released Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship. Under this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide financial assistance of Rs.2,000 to Rs. 11,000 in the form of scholarship. The scholarship will only be provided to the children’s of farmers, fisher man & the children who belong to economically backward section of society. There are many children’s who wanted to study higher education but due to their financial condition they are not able to study. But this scholarship will give them a chance to study & make their future bright. The government of Karnataka state has released Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship with the objective to provide scholarship so the children’s of farmers, fisher man & the children who belong to economically backward section of society can study. Many children’s have to leave their education due to their financial condition but with the help of this scholarship they can continue their education. Through this scholarship, the needy or poor students will get a chance to continue their studies without taking any financial tension. The students will also get better opportunities in future. This scholarship will help to increase the literacy rate of Karnataka state. The financial assistance of Rs.2,000 to Rs. 11,000 will be provided in this scheme.

- This scholarship was firstly launched on August 7, 2021. Further it was extended to year 2023.
- Under this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide financial assistance of Rs.2,000 to Rs. 11,000 in the form of scholarship.

- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka State.
- Applicant should also have a domicile of Karnataka state.
- The applicant parent’s must be farmer, fisher man by occupation.
- Candidate must have passed Class 10th from a recognized school & central or state board .
- Applicant must belong to economically backward section of society.

Procedure To Apply For Raita Vidya Nidhi Karnataka Scholarship
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website https://raitamitra.karnataka.gov.in/english of Agriculture Department of Karnataka.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on “Scholarship Programme for farmer children” under online service area.
- A new page will appear with 2 options YES or NO. If you have Aadhar card number then click on YES.
- If you do not have Aadhar card number then click on NO.
- If you choose YES, then enter all the asked information such as Aadhar card number, name, gender etc.
- You choose NO, then enter your EID number, EID name, gender etc.
- Check the declaration & click on ‘Continue’ option.
- A new page will appear. Fill the required information & upload all the necessary documents.
- Click on ‘Submit’ option.
- You have successfully applied for this scholarship.
Procedure To Login
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website of Agriculture Department of Karnataka.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on “Scholarship Programme for farmer children” under Online service area.
- Now you have to click on ‘Student login’ option.
- A new page will appear with login credentials.
- Enter your User ID, password & captcha code.
- Then click on ‘Login’ option.
