Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme: The central & state government is launching many new & improved schemes day to day to upgrade the conditions of Women in India. The motive of these schemes is to improve the current situation of women. The government of Karnataka state has launched the Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme for pregnant women of Karnataka state. Under this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide financial assistance to pregnant women of Karnataka state. Along with financial assistance, the government will provide one-time nutritious meals at a very affordable price. This benefit will only be provided to women who are residing their life below the Poverty line.

About Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme

The former Chief Minister of Karnataka state Mr. H.D Kumarswamy has launched Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme in 2018. Under this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide a financial assistance of Rs.1,000 every month to pregnant women of Karnataka state. The expectant mother will be provided with this amount until she gave birth to the baby. This money will be transferred to the aadhar linked bank account of the women. According to the latest changes, the government will provide Rs.1,000 per month for the 3 consecutive month after the baby is born. This amount will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary women.

The Karnataka government will also provide meal to the pregnant women. This meal will be provided for 15 months. 9 months of the pregnancy & 6 months after the baby is born. The amount for each meal will be Rs.21 only. If you wanted to take the benefit of this scheme then you can apply. The beneficiary women will only be provided the benefit of this scheme at the birth of their first 2 children only.

Mathrushree Scheme Eligibility Criteria

To get benefited by Mathru Poorna Scheme , the female candidates has to complete the written below eligibility-

  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
  • The applicant should have domicile of Karnataka state.
  • Only pregnant women can get the benefit of this scheme.
  • The women should  belong to BPL category.
  • Beneficiaries will only be provided the benefit of this scheme at the birth of their first 2 children only.
