Children who are moderately underweight will be getting eggs and vitamin-added ‘chhatua’(roasted gram flour). Whole meals will be given to the kids who are very underweight. In Odisha Mukhyamantri Sampoorna Pushti Yojana government is providing eggs, ladoos, and other nutrition supplements to all adolescent girls between the age of 15-19. And KishoriMelas will be organized for the screening of anemia in adolescent girls. This scheme will start in 2023-24 and last for full 5 years in the state. The Odisha government has allotted a budget of 3354.40 for the MSYP scheme. Take-home rations in the form of nutrient-rich food such as millet and eggs will give to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Underweight children below 6 years will get take home ration in the form of eggs.
