About Krushak Odisha Portal
Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Patnaik has launched the program Krushak Odisha Portal on 21, December 2018 which is basically a Livelihood and Income Augmentation program for the farmers of the state. On September 11 the Government of Odisha State has assigned Rs. 742.58 Crores for he program’s implementation through Krushak Odisha Portal. The Government aim is to relieve the financial burden of debt-ridden farmers by providing the financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- to landless agricultural workers. Farmers who are not part of Krushak Odisha WebPortal yet, can easily register themselves online through the Portal. This program will benefit the farmers in various ways.

Eligibility Criteria
According to the notice issued by the authorities, anyone who is a landless or a small or marginal farmer living in Odisha state is eligible to get the financial assistance under Krushak Odisha Portal and can login to the Portal. Other than this, there are many more terms and conditions that must be fulfilled. Let’s have a look at them:
- Applicants should be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
- Applicant should be a farmer by profession.
- The farmers should have a valid ration card.
- BPL card is required to be eligible.
- Applicant must have a bank account.
- A farmer or his family should not have any other occupation other than farming.
- A farmer or his family member should not be government employees.
- The farmer or his wife should not be receiving any pension currently.
- If the farmer is a taxpayer/MP or MLA, he will not be eligible.
- The farmer should not be a large or medium farmer with land.
