About Chhatra Protshan Yojana
Chhatra Protshan Yojana was launched by Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik. In this scheme government is providing free coaching to the SC/ST students who wanted to clear the engineering and medical examination. Along with free coaching government is also providing financial aid and free residentials facililities to the students who are selected for this scheme. Only the students who have clear the exam held by the government are eligible for this scheme. For the successful implemantation of this scheme government has alloted a budget of Rs. 811 crore for the session 2022-23.
In this scheme only the bright, intelligent and meritorious students of Odisha backward class will get the benefits. Through this scheme more than 60 laks students will get the benefits out of which 60% girls are eligible. Only the pre and post matric students can get the benefit of this scheme. The mode of registration for this scheme is online. Official website of Odisha Chhatra Protshan yojana is not released yet because the scheme is released recently.
