WB Nijashree Housing Scheme 2024
The West Bengal government has started WB Nijashree Housing Scheme to fulfill basic need of every human being that is shelter. In this scheme, the government will provide 1BHK and 2 BHK flats to lower income groups or middle income groups. The price of 1 BHK flat is Rs.7.82 lakhs with 378 square feet carpet area and 2 BHK flat is Rs.9.26 lakhs with 559 square feet carpet area. The houses will be provided on the basis of lottery system. The lower income groups with a salary less than Rs.15,000 and middle income group with a salary less than 30,000 can apply for WB Nijashree Housing Scheme. The applications and allotment of houses for the 2 phases has already done.
Now, the West Bengal government has started the applications for Phase 3. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the application form without wasting any time. The West Bengal state government has allocated the budget of Rs.3000 crore for construction of houses under WB Nijashree Housing Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for West Bengal Nijashree Housing Scheme the candidate has to follow the written below steps-
- Firstly, the applicant has to visit the official website of Housing Department (Government of West Bengal) that is https://wbhousing.gov.in/
- Then on homepage, click on Nijashree option (left side of the page).
- A new page will appear. Read all the information on this page.
- Now, on that page in 6th line click on ‘Sample application form’.
- Then download the Nijashree scheme application form and take a print out of it.
