The government of India & UK marked Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas on January 09, 2023, by announcing the UK India Young Professionals Scheme 2023. In this scheme, the United Kingdom will annually grant 3,000 seats to educated Indians whose age is between 18 – 30 years. The Indians can work or live up to 2 years in the United Kingdom. This scheme is reciprocal & will open in March 2023. UPDATE: The United Kingdom has initiated the India Young Professionals Scheme, inviting Indian citizens to settle, work, or study in the country for a duration of two years. The British High Commission in India has revealed that a new ballot system will be implemented, offering 3,000 visas to individuals aged between 18 and 30. This opportunity allows young Indian professionals to pursue their careers in the UK. The ballot window is scheduled to open from February 20 at 2:30 pm India Standard Time (IST) to February 22 at 2:30 pm IST. An official announcement on X (formerly Twitter) encourages Indian graduates to enter the ballot for a chance to apply for a visa.
