The Telangana Congress Party has announced the Telangana Cheyutha Pension Scheme. The new Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. Revanth Reddy will implement this scheme. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will provide Rs.4,000 monthly pension to the eligible people. This scheme will provide pensions to beedi workers, widows, disabled persons, handloom workers, or the people covered in the Aasara Scheme. Through this scheme, the government will make a hike on the pension amount given in the previous pension scheme. In the previous pension scheme, only 2016 rupees will be given. But now the new government will give 4000 rupees as a monthly pension amount.
