Earlier for getting admission to any UG course students have to visit the colleges but with the help of this portal, applicants can submit the common application form for admission to any undergraduate course online. Through this portal, students can submit one common application for admission to a maximum of 10 universities. Students who get admission with the help of this portal can also get the advantage of the fee waiver scheme of the Assam government because the Samarth portal and fee waiver scheme are linked together. Application forms for admission will be accepted through the Samarth portal but after the merit list is issued based on which they have to visit the institution for admission because the admission will be done offline.
