About Assam Darpan Portal
The Assam government along with Assam Higher Secondary Education has launched Assam Darpan Portal. The announcement about this portal is made by the Assam Board on last Thursday. Through this portal, the students can get admitted in her Secondary (HS) First Year Course for the academic year 2023–2024. They can get admitted in any college of Assam state. Admission process will be started from May 29 to June 17, 2023. The students who have successfully completed the admissions process through the DARPAN portal will be permitted to finish the registration process. Without Darpan Portal, the students will not be able to get the admission in any college of the Assam state.

Assam Darpan Portal Important Guidelines For Students
- Eligible & Interested students have to submit their application for the university on the Official website.
- The application form or profile of students can only be edited 1 time before the University verifies their application.
- 1 students can only submit 5 application forms in total.
- Information regarding selection will be given through the SMS. The pupils will have the access of the selection or waiting list.
- Students can only accept 1 admission offered by university.
- No students is allowed to switch the admission or university after the approval of application.
Assam Darpan Portal Important Guidelines For Institutions
- Online verification is mandatory of the students by the university or institution.
- After the proper verification only, the selection & waiting list will be made by the institutions.
- By visiting the Official Website of the university or institution the students will be able to see the selection & waiting list.
- The institutions can enter Institution Login ID regularly at the time of the admission process. The selected student accepts the admission offer from the institutions by clicking on the Confirm Admission option. This will complete the admission process in the portal.
- University will confirm the admission of the students who have accepted the admission offer.
- Universities are requested to check the documents of students physically.
- The name of the students who have not accepted the admission offer can be removed from the list. The institution can add names of the new students from the waiting list.

- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website darpan.ahseconline.in of the Assam Darpan Portal.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on ‘Student Admission’.
- If you have not done any registration yet then click on ‘Don’t have an account? Click here to register a new account’ option.
- Now, on next page fill all the registration details & get registered.
- After that click on student admission option.
- A new page will appear with login credentials. Enter your 10 digit mobile number, Date of Birth, 4 digit pin.
- Click on ‘Login’ option.
- Enter all the details asked in the application form.
- Then you have to click on ‘Submit’ option.
Procedure To Register New Institution
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website of the Assam Darpan Portal.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on ‘Login’ option.
- A new page will appear. click on New Institution Registration Option.
- On next page a form will appear. Fill the Institution name, District, Address, post office, village/ward/town, Pin number, Sub division, Principal name, Official E mail ID etc.
- Upload all the required documents.
- After that you have to enter the password for login.
- Accept the declaration.
- Now finally you have to click on ‘Register’ option.
