Odisha Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana:- The government keeps launching many schemes for the welfare of the people. The Odisha government come up with a new scheme with the aim to help people of the state to buy scooters. CM Naveen Patnaik launched the Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana (MSSY). This scheme will prove beneficial for the CSS (Community Support Staff ) and Executive Committee members of self-help groups. The announcement about the scheme was made during the cabinet meeting held on 21 July. With the help of the scheme, the CSS and EC members of SHGs can purchase scooters of their choice on bank loans.

Odisha Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana 2024
According to the yojana, the Government of Odisha decided to give interest-free loans up to 1 lakh Rs for purchasing scooters according to their wish. It is expected that more than 2 lakh women will be receiving the benefits of the scheme. Women of the state will be empowered through this yojana. The state government has given approval for a 528.54 crore budget for the upcoming 5 years.

Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana Objective
The main aim of the state government to start this scheme is to provide transport facilities to the women of the state. With the help of the scheme, females will be able to purchase scooters as per their choice. Under the yojana, there are 75,000 CSS beneficiaries and 1,25,000 EC members.

Eligibility Criteria
- CSS and EC members of SHGs can apply for the scheme.
- It is necessary that an individual should belong to Odisha state.
