The Odisha Cabinet & the Chief Minister of Odisha state Mr. Naveen Patnaik have started the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Scheme. Through this scheme, the Odisha government will try to transform Odisha into a modern & aspirational state. The government will focus on the basic needs of citizens & then they will make plans. The culture, history, and tradition of the state will be preserved. We already know that Odisha is a state of culture and traditions. People respect every culture and tradition in the state regardless of their caste or religion. Jagannath culture was introduced in Odisha state. This is a culture of equality, service, and all forms of love. This Scheme has started with the aim of preserving all the culture, tradition, and history of Odisha. This scheme will promote modern & aspirational Odisha.
The total budget of this scheme set by the Odisha government for the year 2023-24 is Rs.4000 crores. The government will distribute Rs.50 lakh to each gram panchayat to maintain their area. With this money, the gram panchayat can allocate proper drinking water, parks, shelter homes for animals, bus stand, Wi-Fi, etc. Local residents can also give their suggestions. This money will only be used for the development and enhancement of digital and banking services. The money will be distributed to each department to carry out the various tasks. The Collector will have the authority to choose any agency to carry out the work.
