About Karnataka LMS Scheme
The government of Karnataka state has introduced Karnataka LMS Scheme (Karnataka Learning Management System Scheme). This scheme will be beneficial for the students of Karnataka state in many ways. Through this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide an opportunity for students to learn in a new way that is e-learning. This scheme will be installed in 2 ways, one is LMS-based digital learning and the other is 2500 ICT-enabled classrooms. Both ways are best in their own ways. The government will set up this scheme in 14 engineering colleges and 87 polytechnics. There are almost 4.5 lakh students and 24,000 teachers who will get benefit from this scheme. The total budget set up by the Karnataka government for this scheme is Rs.35 crores.
