Delhi University Financial Support Scheme 2024
Under the Dean Students Welfare of Delhi University, the board has launched DUFSS 2024. All those students who are facing financial issues and are unable to submit their course fees can apply online for DU Financial Support Scheme. This scheme is launched for financially disadvantaged students under government motto “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”. However students must note that this scheme will not include the examination fees or hostel fees. The authorities announced that students will be granted a fee exemption in accordance with their annual family income.

The primary objective of DUFSS 2024 is to provide financial assistance to all those students who are financially weak and cannot afford to pay their education fees for further studies. Dean Students Welfare of Delhi University has decided to provide financial assistance under the government motto “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”.

Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefit under DUFSS candidate should satisfy the requirements, which is as detailed below:

Required Documents
These following documents are required to apply for DUFSS 2024:
- Self-attested copy of EWS/ OBC-NCL Certificate or Annual family income certificate issued by competent authority after March 31, 2023. Income certificate issued by a notary will not be accepted.
- Self-attested copies of the latest Income Tax Returns (2022-23) of the following family members:
- Father
- Mother
- Sister(s) (Unmarried)
- Brother(s) (Unmarried and below 25 years of age)
- Self-attested copy of PAN Card(s) of all the above.
- Signed Copy of the Undertaking Form as per the format given on https://dsw.du.ac.in/.
- Signed copy of Bonafide certificate duly signed by Head/ Director of the Centre/ Department/ Institute as per the format given on https://dsw.du.ac.in/.
- Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of the last exam passed.
- Self-attested copy of the latest Fee Receipt.
- Self-attested copy of Bank Passbook showing the Student’s Name, Account Number and IFSC code or a Canceled Cheque.
Application Procedure for Delhi University Financial Support Scheme 2024
To apply under DUFSS 2024 students should follow the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the Official Website i.e. https://dsw.du.ac.in/.
- On homepage click on “FINANCIAL SUPPORT SCHEME 2023-24” option.
- Click on “Registration” link.
- Registration form will appear on your screen.
- Read all the instructions before filling out the form.
- Click on “Next” option.
- Enter the required details that are asked in the form.
- Attach all the relevant documents.
- Click on Submit option to complete the registration process.
