The main objective of AP free laptop scheme is to provide laptops to students free of cost. This scheme will promote digital education. Other than that student will get students will get help in acquiring technical education. Now those entire students who are not able to afford laptops due to the financial crisis will be able to get laptops through the Andhra Pradesh free laptop scheme. Other than that this scheme will encourage students to acquire higher education. Through this scheme visually challenged students hearing-challenged students, speech-impaired students, and orthopedically challenged students will be provided with laptop.

Guideline for the Sanction of Laptop to differently Abled Student
For visually challenged student IT has proposed to procure laptops at the rate of Rs. 30000 for all students who are studying in professional courses to the tune of Rs. 60000. Other than that the govt. is also going to provide laptops to hearing-challenged, speech-impaired and orthopedically-challenged student once in a lifetime. Below mentioned are the guidelines for the sanction of laptops-
- The laptop will be issued to the student once in a lifetime.
- Is some incorrect information is provided by the student in order to get the benefit of this scheme then the student is liable for any reason action by the corporation? The student also have to return the instrument or the cost of the instrument
- Only those student will get the benefit of this scheme whose parents/guardians monthly income does not exceed
- Rs 15000 per month which is half of the cost of the instrument
- Rs 15000 per month to Rs 20000 per month and collecting full cost to that monthly income of
- Rs 20000 per month and above under ADIP scheme
- Students are they require submitting bonafide certificated from the school or college, income certificated of the parents, saderam certificate, Aadhar card, Phone number etc.
- Laptops will be distributed through the assistant Director, Department for the welfare of differently-abled and senior citizen/District manager A.P differently-abled and senior citizen assistant corporation
- The official are required to maintain all the application received in the year with them
- Only eligible details of the requirement laptop have to be submitted to the head office
- The official require to maintain a record of the beneficiaries in order to avoid double claim of false claim
- Only those student who are pursuing post graduate of professional courses will get the benefit of this scheme
Eligibility Criteria for the AP Free Laptop Scheme 2023
- Student whose parent’s income is less then Rs. 15000 per month will get laptop for free
- Student whose parent’s income is between Rs. 15000 to 20000 per month have to pay half amount of the laptop
- The student whose parent’s income is more than Rs. 20000 per month has to pay the full cost.
- Student must study in the professional courses
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.

Application Procedure to Apply for AP Free Laptop Scheme 2023
- Firstly you go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh Differently-abled and senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.
- On the home page click online application option from mid of the page
- Click click here to apply for the differently-abled scheme
- Search “Application for Sanction of laptops” options
- Click on the apply online option and a new page will be appear
- If you are not registered click no option
- The form will be appear on the screen
- Enter the following details
- Name as in Aadhar card, Aadhar card number, Mobile number, Email ID, Create a password, retype the password and select the register option
- If you already registered with the site then log in with id and password
- Click apply online option the application form will display
- Fill out the application form and upload the necessary document
- Submit the application from after reviewing of the form

- From the home page go to the scheme & forms section
- Click the view all option and the new page will appear on the screen
- Search the Sanction of laptops option and hit the Read More option
- Click the Download application option and take a printout of it
- Fill the details on the form and attach the necessary document
- Submit the form along with the document to the department
