About AICTE AURA Scheme 2024
The Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) T G Sitharam has launched the AICTE AURA Scheme 2024. Under this term AURA stands for (Augmenting Utilization of Research Assets) 2024. Aim of the scheme is promote the utilization of I-STEM (India Science Technology Engineering) facilities map by providing the financial assistance to both teachers and students who are in AICTE approved colleges for utilizing I-STEM facilities and boosting research. Under the scheme the financial assistance of up to Rs. 2 Lakh will be provided to the researcher for the use of equipment and facilities registered under I-STEM portal. The program is for a maximum of 2 years.

The objectives of the AICTE AURA Scheme 2024 are as follows:
- The primary objective of scheme is to enlarge the existing research by utilization of public funded hardware and software R&D facilities mapped by I-STEM.
- Another objective of the scheme is to provide the financial assistance to both teachers and students who are in AICTE approved colleges for utilizing I-STEM facilities and boosting research.

Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefit under AICTE AURA Scheme 2024, you should fulfil these eligibility criteria:
- Full-time or regular faculty of AICTE approved institutions and students of PG scholarships, ADF fellowship and QIP Scheme.
- PG students of AICTE approved institutions who have not availed PG scholarships are also eligible for this scheme.
- Both teachers and students who are in AICTE approved colleges for utilizing I-STEM facilities and boosting research are eligible.
