To encourage and empower the Digital India Mission, Indian Government has launched the Swayam Plus Portal. The launching of the Swayam portal is initiated by the Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan in a media event in New Delhi.
The Swayam portal is a massive open online course platform which offers online learning courses in streams like Manufacturing, Energy, Computer Science and Engineering/IT/ITES, Management Studies, Healthcare, Hospitality, Tourism, etc. The Swayam Plus Portal will be operated by world renowned institution IIT Madras for effective efficiency and seamless operation. This online portal will enhance the skills and employability of college students as well as working professionals by giving them opportunity of better learning.

- Firstly visit the official website of Swayam Portal
- A homepage will appear on your screen
- On the homepage click on Register for new users tab
- After clicking on it a new page will appear on your screen
- On this page enter Your Email ID or Microsoft ID and click on verify tab
- A verification code will sent to your given email ID or Microsoft ID
- Now copy the verification code from you Mail ID and paste it on the registration page
- After successful verification, you need to enter your username
