The SudakshyaGirl Child Scholarship was started by the Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha. Under this scholarship scheme, the Odisha government will provide financial assistance to the girl child of Odisha state for their education. This scheme will financially support the meritorious & needy students of Odisha. The girl child should only belong to the General/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC community. The girl who will stay in the hostel will also get financial assistance of Rs1,500 for the hostel & the day scholars will get financial assistance of Rs.500 per month. The objective of the Odisha government behind this scheme is to encourage & motivate their students to continue their studies. There are many girls who left their studies after 10th because of financial issues. But now with the help of this scheme, every girl child can complete their education without thinking much of her financial situation. Under this scheme, girls will get financial assistance of Rs1,500 for the hostel & the day scholars will get financial assistance of Rs.500 per month. The girls will also get some additional benefits such as uniforms, books, etc.

• Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official website of the scheme.

• On the homepage click on the ‘Apply Scholarship’ option under “Apply”.
• After that select the ‘Register here Sudakshya Girls Child Scholarship’ option.
• A new page will appear with some instructions.
• Read the instructions carefully & then click on the ‘Agree’ option.
• Then a new page will open. Fill in all the details on this page such as Aadhar number, Name, Date of birth, Email, mobile number, password, etc.
• Then click on the ‘Register’ option.
• After that click on the ‘Save as Draft’ button & then click on the ‘Next’ button to save and proceed.
