Gig Workers Insurance Scheme was started by the Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. K. Siddaramaiah on 7th July 2023 during the 14th budget of Karnataka. In this scheme, the government is providing insurance worth 4 lakhs to the delivery person. In Delivery Man Scheme the beneficiary will get 2 lakhs worth of life insurance and 2 lakh accident insurance. As we all know delivery man works really hard in all weather conditions so this will prove very helpful for them Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Swiggy, Snapdeal, etc delivery worker will get the advantage of the Gig Workers Insurance Scheme. Since this scheme was announced recently the official website of Gig Workers Insurance Scheme is not launched yet. The insurance amount will be directly sent to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
