Around Rs. 15,000 will be provided to the woman who falls under the category of 45 to 60 years of age. The financial assistance under YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme will be provided to beneficiaries for 5 years. The main aim of launching this scheme is to uplift the standard of women belonging to lower category people.

- The Government has disbursed an amount of Rs. 1101 crores for the successful implementation of this scheme.
- A target of covering or providing benefits to around 3, 38,792 women beneficiaries have been set up by the government.
- The CM of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy has allocated an amount of Rs. 508.20 Crores for benefitting to 3, 38,792 women beneficiaries.
- About Rs. 32,297 Crores has been spent for providing benefits to both men and women beneficiaries.

CM Distributes Rs. 586 Crores To OC Women
As we all know the respective Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched AP YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme in order to provide livelihood and financial empowerment to the economically weaker women of the state. Now on 25th January 2022, the chief minister has deposited the amount of Rs. 586 crores directly into the bank accounts of around 3.93 thousand women. As we all know that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has created a new scheme to empower women by providing them monetary help. Kapu Nestham Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Following eligibility criteria is required to avail the benefits of this scheme:-
- An applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- An applicant must be a woman.
- She must belong to the Kapu People Group.
- The age of the applicant should be between 45 to 60 years.
- An applicant must belong to the BPL category.
- The candidate should have predefined salary measures.
- The candidate should not have an income tax payer relative.
- The annual income of the ruler’s zone should be Rs. 10,000 and urban’s zone should be Rs. 12,000.
- The family should hold wetland under section 3 and section 10.
- The family who claims no property on under 750 square feet are eligible to apply under YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme.
