Karnataka Swawalambi Sarathi Scheme was started by the Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. K. Siddharamaiya. In this scheme, the government is providing subsidies for buying 4-wheeler vehicles to the unemployed youth of minority communities, SC and ST. With the help of the subsidy amount, they can buy minibusses, Goods carrier vehicles, and cars. With the help of this scheme, unemployed youths have a great chance to start their business in various sectors and to create employment opportunities for others also.
Youths belonging to the minority community will get a subsidy of 50% for loans up to Rs. 3 lakhs and SC ST youths will get a subsidy of 75% for loans up to Rs. 4 lakhs.
