About Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Scheme 2024
The Kalaignarin Kanavu Illam Scheme is launched by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M. K. Stalin. Under this scheme the government has passed the budget for Rs. 3500 Crore to build 8 lakh concrete houses in rural areas. The objective is to make Tamil Nadu a slum-free State by the year 2030. In the first phase of this scheme around 1 Lakh houses will be constructed in the year 2024-25. The people living below the poverty line in Kutcha houses will get to live in the concrete houses of their own. The money will be sent directly to the beneficiaries bank account to build their own houses. To get the benefit of this scheme apply for the same.
