DDA Housing Scheme Objective
As we all know there are many people who due to their weak financial condition are not able to buy their own houses. And this creates a lot of problems for them to live in various places. Last Date Of Enrollment
The Government of NCT of Delhi has extended the last date to apply under this scheme. Now all those applicants who have left out to apply under this scheme can apply till 10th March 2022. The Government has made this decision to expand the last date due to the heavy demand of the general public.
Allotment Of Subsidy
After getting enrollment or registration under DDA Housing Scheme, one can be able to get the subsidy facility if he/she has already enrolled themselves under the PM Awas Yojana. The mode of application to apply under this scheme will be conducted in the online mode. Flats will be sold to the applicant at the old rates finalized by the government.
Around 12253 Applicants Have Got Benefit
It will be surprising for you to know that around 22,000 applicants have filed their application requests for getting these flats provided by the Delhi Government at the old rates. And out of this only around 22,179 no. applications have been accepted after conducting the verification process and left one figure has been rejected due to ineligibility criteria they possess.

Mode Of Transfer
After getting registration under this scheme, the applicant will need to pay out the amount of the flat by their bank accounts. He/she will have to pay out the amount of the flat through the mode of NEFT/RTGS. The applicant will have to use this net banking method for transferring the amount of flat for purchasing. He/she will also be liable for paying the extra charges.
Allotment Of Possession Letter
After the completion of all paper formalities by the applicant, the government will grant him/her the possession letter through the online mode. Only after getting this possession letter, he/she will be able to reserve a date for the physical possession. Within the time of 3 months, a flat will be given to him.
PWD Reservation
The Government of Delhi has also kept a 5% reservation for the Person With Disability (PWD) so the applicants belonging to the PWD category will also be able to get benefits under this scheme. They will require doing 25% payment of the whole amount. He/she can use any mode of transfer for paying out the money either online or offline through the cash mode.
Important Guidelines
Some of the other guidelines issued by the government are as follows: –
- DDA have the full authority for the alternation and modification of the terms & conditions.
- Number of flats can also be increased by the DDA.
- Allotment letter will be generated under the DDA Regulations, 1968.
- Consumer Court of Delhi will be responsible for setting up disputes.
- Grievance filling will be redressed by the Director, Commissioner, Principal Commissioner or Vice-Chairman.
- Before applying, checking/ fulfilling eligibility is must.
- Allotment letter can be canceled anytime after finding the incorrectness of the information filed by the applicant while carrying out paper formalities.
Responsibility For Flat Maintenance
After getting ownership of the flat, the flat owner will be fully responsible for the maintenance of the Flat such as carrying out major repairs. The owner will need to maintain a separate fund for carrying out day to day activities. Apart from these, Day to Day maintenance expenses will be bear by the RWA.
Denial Of Receiving DDA Fake Call
DDA Fake Call has been operated in the name of the urban body. This fake call will be received to those who have been shortlisted for getting ownership of the flats after fulfilling all paper formalities. Applicants will need to be careful and they will not require sending them any bank details such as: – bank account number and IFSC code number.

DDA Housing Scheme Have 18000 Flats
The DDA housing scheme has been started by the Delhi Development Authority under which 18000 flats are available. These flats are available for different categories at various locations such as Dwarka Rohini jasola Vasant Kunj Narela etc. The categories of these flats are divided according to the income groups as 202 flats are available for a higher-income crop of 3 BHK, 976 flights are available for middle incomplete with 2BHK spaces. And 3 high-income group flats are available in Vasant Kunj with 2 BHK spaces. It is said by the officials that around 572 flats are available for the economically weaker section of society.

Refund Process Under DDA
The refund process under the scheme is as follows:-
- Before applying under this scheme applicants should satisfy themselves with the location’s cost and existing facilities of the flats.
- There will be no responsibility for any delay in refund of application money of DDA if the information is mismatched in bank details provided by the candidate.
- The cancellation and Centre request will be accepted only through the online mode.
- If the application is a joint application then the refund will be made in the name of the first applicant.
- The bank account of the applicant should not be a current account and nre or nro account.
- To get admisable refund of the money then applicant must clearly mention their saving bank account number or IFSC code.
