About Amma Vodi Scheme
Amma Vodi Scheme is the initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The government under this scheme will provide financial assistance to each mother or recognized guardian in the absence of mother who are living below poverty line, irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region to provide the chance to her to educate her child or children from class I to XII. The beneficiary will receive the financial assistance of Rs. 15,000/- as a reward from the government of state. The government has distributed the financial assistance to more than 42 lakh people.
