Procedure to Apply for a New Passport through the mPassport Seva

• Firstly, you have to download the mPassport Seva app available for Android or iOS.

• Then the app will be successfully installed.
• After that the app will open on the screen.
• Then you will see the dashboard of the app in front of you.
• Now, clicked on the New User Register option.
• After that, select the Passport Office option on the screen.
• Then a new page will open on the screen.
• After that enter all the required details such as name, working email ID, date of birth, etc
• Then enter the unique login ID and a strong password
• If you forgot the password then to recover it choose a security question and response
• Now, enter the captcha code in the space given.
• After that click on the Submit option on the screen.
• Then you will receive a verification link to the specified email address to activate the account.
• Now new page will open on the screen.
• Click on the verification link on the screen.
• After clicking you will be asked to provide login ID as confirmation.
• After that stop using the app and then relaunch it after the account has been validated.
• Now, you have to click on the Existing User option.
• You will see a new page on the screen.
• After that enter the Login ID, password, and the captcha code in the space given.
• Then click on Apply for a fresh passport option on the screen.
• Now you will see an application form on the screen.
• After that fill the application form by entering all the required details.
• Next, you have to complete the payment.
• At last, schedule an appointment to visit a passport centre for document verification.
