Karnataka Laxmi Scheme Benefits

- Girl Child will receive the scholarship of Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per year till class 10th.
- Female child born in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) family will receive health insurance of Rs. 25,000 per year.
- Parent of the girl child will also receive Rs. 1,00,000 in accident cases and Rs. 42,500 in case of natural death.
- Female child will also get Rs. 34,751 after she turn 18 years.

Bhagya Laxmi Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be the permanent residents of Karnataka State.
- Girl child should be registered in the government office within a year after the birth.
- Only the BPL families of Karnataka can take the benefits of this scheme till 2 girl child that means the 3rd girl child born in the family will not get the benefit.
- Female child born after 31 March 2006 can only take the benefit of this scheme.
- Girl child who have completed class 8th and attain 18th of age are only eligible for maturity amount
