YSR Kalyanamasthu Scheme/YSR Shaadi Tohfa 2024 scheme was launched by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on 30 September 2022. During the launch press conference of this scheme Mr. Mohan Reddy have said that this scheme will help in controlling the child marriages as minimum age for applying for this scheme is 18 years for girls and 21 years for boys. The scheme will come in effects from 1st October 2022. In this scheme government will provide financial help for the wedding of the people who belongs to Schedule Caste, schedule Tribe, Minorities, Construction workers, Differently Abled and BOCWWB Member. Both bride and groom can take the benefit of YSR Shadi Tohfa 2024 scheme.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide monetary benefits to the poor families who wanted to married their daughters and sons. Under this scheme government will provide financial assistance in the range of Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 40,000 depending on the Caste and type of Marriage that is Inter caste or same caste. This scheme will also prevents the child marriages as the minimum age for applying for this scheme is 18 years for girls and 21 years for boys.

- Bride & groom must have pass class 10th.
