Manki Munda Scholarship scheme:- has been launched by the Jharkhand Chief Minister Mr. Champai Soren on Monday in the cabinet meeting. This scheme is to promote the education of female students. The state government will provide scholarships to female students to pursue technical education. In the scheme, the Jharkhand cabinet has decided to offer financial help to those dissolving and meritorious girls who are enrolled in technical education. Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme 2024
The government of Jharkhand has been initiative in a Manki Munda Scholarship scheme on 12 February 2024 to promote the education of female students of the state. Under this scholarship scheme, the girl a girl student will get a scholarship of Rs. 15000 per annum for pursuing diploma courses. And the girls who are in engineering courses will be getting a scholarship amount of Rs. 30000 per annum. The scholarship amount will be transferred to the bank account in BDT mode. The duration of the scholarship amount will depend on the marks record in the pursuing years. The minimum and qualifying marks will be 50 percent in each semester.
As of now, the ratio of girl and boy students enrolled in engineering courses will be 6:1. It means out of every 6 boys students in an engineering course there will be only one girl who gets this opportunity to get enrolled. The government thus wants to encourage female students to take up technical studies for better prospects.

The main objective of the Manki Munda Scholarship scheme is to make all financially unstable female students educated the same as male students who are financially privileged and enrolled in technical education. With the rising amount of college fees, many female students are not too able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop from their education. Through this scheme will easily pay their fees.
