The Karnataka Government has introduced the e-JanMa Portal on 1st July, 2018. This portal provides details of all Births, Deaths and Still Births which are electronically registered across all over Karnataka State. The Births, Deaths and Still Births that occurs in rural areas are registered by Village Accountants through Nada Kacheri at Hobli level and the Births, Deaths and Still Births that occurs in the Sub Registration Units (all Govt Health Institutions) are registered by Medical officer and certificates are issued in the Institution itself and the Births, Deaths and Still Births that occurs in urban areas and in BBMP area are registered by Health Officers and Health Inspectors in their respective area. All details are registered in eJanMa portal by respective authorities.
