Odisha Ashirwad Yojana:- To provide financial assistance among the children who got orphaned due to covid-19, the Respected Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has created a new scheme known as Ashirwad Yojana. Under this scheme, the various types of facilities will be provided to the children who have lost both or single parents due to the pandemic of Covid-19. Odisha Ashirwad Yojana 2023

A new scheme has been created by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide financial help among the children who have lost their parents due to the pandemic of Covid 19. The financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 will be provided to the children who have lost their parents. The financial assistance under Ashirwad Yojana will directly be transferred into the bank account of beneficiaries. This assistance will be given to the children till the age of 18 years. The student will be able to continue their education without thinking about any financial hurdles.

  • The relatives who have taken the responsibility for these children will be eligible for a house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana.
  • If the student wants to be admitted to some other schools they will be rewarded with all the assistance as per the right to education act under Odisha Ashirwad Yojana.
  • If the child is not staying with the relative then he will be given shelter under a child care Institution.

As we all know there are many children in the state who have lost their parents due to the pandemic of covid-19. And now they are not able to continue their day-to-day activities easily. By keeping this in mind the government of Odisha has created a new scheme known as Odisha Ashirwad Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given to the covid-19 orphans of the state. The main aim of launching this scheme is to provide financial help to the children so that they would be able to carry out their day-to-day activities without thinking about any financial hurdles.

Those who have taken the responsibility then they turn allotment will be made for him to provide the shelter to live on. Also, the relatives will be covered under any of the government welfare schemes as per their requirements and eligibility.

  • If the relative of the child wants to admit children to some other school, the district collector will incur all the assistance as per the right to education act.
  • Also, the assistance will be provided by the government to the children to pursue their higher education under the Green Passage Scheme.
